Right i bought some hein gericke race boots, arlen ness gloves, and a PSX track 2 peice, on finance from them about 6 weeks ago now, when i ordered them i had to have a 2 week cooling down period on finance agreement, but when bought was told they was in stock and id have them in 2 weeks, 2 weeks down line i get my boots and gloves, i call up about the leathers and they keep fobbing me off with excuses and finally get my leather jacket, now i call up about the bottoms and again they will be with you by the weekend....

weekend comes no track pants, i call up again and am told they ran out of stock and need to ship more from germany (this was like 3 weeks ago), iv e-mailed twice complaining and am being ignored, i call them up, and the rep says she will call me back in afternoon (said she would try track them) i got no phone call back, so basically im really pissed off, next time ill use demon tweeks, i shouda bought a 2 peice RST set, woulda been 80 quid cheaper too!

/rant over - sorry..... just fed up had to get it out, i do understand this is out of character from them becuase everyone i speak too, raves about there customer service.

Annoying. You're currently paying for them right?

Thats suprising, never heard a bad word about Hein Gericke! Guess you got unlucky there.

The Cheltenham staff are very knowledgeable. Also they remember me and have a chat, even though I probably only pop in every 6 months or so (don't get that at my local suzuki dealership and i go there far more often). I had to get my leathers ordered in and they arrived in a few days. The first jacket had stitching defects and that was replaced within 24 hours.

Purchased my first HG items ( journey jacket and trousers )last feb from the Luton branch , as already said on here the staff are always very friendly and know their product , was very impressed and do pop back in if i'm in the area , nice stores to shop in , always clean and tidy and well presented .
Got me some boots and gloves from them just before christmas too.
All great kit and has never let me down , even in the worst rain we've had recently , dry as a bone.

Time to write to the HQ or German parent company? Might be worth seeing if their German stores have your stuff in stock as well, could be a good excuse for a tour down to the Fatherland wink

Ditto the guys in HG Edinburgh...amazed how they remember who you are and what you bought from 6 months ago! Very pleasant and enthusiatic chaps indeed smile

And very polite/subtle when correcting silly bugger customers (yours truly) when looking at and trying to find a jacket that fits from the Ladies section!! silly

I am not a solicitor, but I would imagine as a layman, that if you entered into a HP agreement for some goods (and not all of those goods have been received) that you would have a right to cancel the agreement as a result? I would imagine that you'd have to return all of the other items in as new condition to be able to do that though.

I would suggest that a quick chat with your citizen's advice bureau might help.
