have you got insurance quotes??
circa 350-400 quid fully comp SD&Business locked in shed, standard imobalizer, no no claims andzero years licence, 5k miles per year.which didnt seem that bad... and hopefully as long as its kept shiney side up should come down fairly quick..
That was via ducati insurance on the web, so with a bit of tweeking to security etc it might come down a bit. use didnt seem to make much difference..

Well I suppose you could call it a mid-life crisis...
the wife wants a divorce for hers, and i want a bike for mine, So SOD IT im bying a bike... whilst she works out what she really wants, she cant complain about the bike... Im doing something just for me in the mean time....
The normal mid-life crisis is a porsche but im not fat enough and have too much hair for that, and besides after the TVR's a porker would be slow and dull
I was into bikes as a youngster and did a lot of U17 Trials, but was manouvered into cars at 17.
I've always fancied getting back on a bike, and Its always been a Ducati I fancied..
I have no desire to do 200mph on a bike ( car maybe) and the monster suits the style i want and the kind of riding i want to do...
just need to pass

if all goes to plan should be in action by the end of may, but then we all know what happens to plans....
cheers
