Running in a BMW K1200

Picked up my new K1200s on Friday ..... as I left I was told to 5000 rpm to run it in for the 1st 600 miles

Disappointed I rode off limited to 90mph it top.

Commuted in to the Wharf today from Oxfordshire in 1hr 35 mins a new worlds record for the G Man, returned in 1hr 55 mins including a fuel stop and a heavy downpour,

My car times would be 2hrs out and 2hrs 15 back, the train and tube 2hrs 15 out, between 2hrs 30 and 4 days back

My handbook says during running in you can take it to 7,000 rpm which is a more respectable 115 mph
