After my spill i'm making a small list of things I want done on my 95 ZXR750.

I have bled the brakes and they now feel fantastic, the front forks will be getting done once it's back on the road but i'd like to fit the rear shock before that happens.

Is there a particularly good shock I should look at? I'm quite a heavy chap and my current one is now 13 years old.

Well, the usual suspects I guess, Hagon, Maxton, Ohlins, WP? Is there a more bike specific forum to yours you can check out?

I've tried to get on the Kawasaki Forum but it logs me out constantly and is generally impossible to do anything on for me.

I have improved my mood though by remov8ing unwanted bracketry, pillion seat mounts etc to get the perfect "Mass Centralisation" weight haha

There is a ZXR/ZX7R forum called www.redmonkey.com/7r

Normally good for all sorts of questions (assuming you can navigate the antique forum layout)

Think I need a new rear shock for my 1998 7R. Can you let me know what they say when you ask?

Some shocks are rebuildable. I have no idea if the ZXR's is, but a call to someone like K-tech could tell you for sure. It may save a lot of cash and you can have it prepared exactly as you need it.
