Well I am back and have some pic and vids of the Stelvios, Gavia and Grossgrogna passes which I shall edit and post in the next few days.

After 4000 miles across across 7 countries here are my awards.

1 Fastest motorbike ever --- KTM Super Dukes are the weapon of choice in the high Alps, ridden by the undead in shorts and T shirts at warp speed around blind bends with 1000 ft drops, sorry there is nothing faster

2 Fastest down hill bike - Any 125 cc scooter on Saturday afternoon

3. Best pass to ride - Pass de Mortirolo

4. Best lunch - at the bottom of the decent from the Pass de Gavia first restaurant on the ride, the pasta was unbeliverable.

5 Best road to ride - Baden Baden B500 27 km of heaven

6 Fastest speed GPS recorded 158 mph with full luggage

7 Worst roads - Italy - best Germany

8 Most painful experience - putting back in place my dislocated thumb

9 Biggest moment - In Austria rounding a bend at reasonable speed I rode over a tar line which had melted in the heat and the bike rear stepped out 6 inches, I had the feet off the pegs Rossi style

10 Most shocking Moment - In the Sauna in Austria and the hoteliers daughter walk in naked and ask if I mind.

I have been taught good manners, so when a lady enters a room I stand up. When a naked lady walks into the room I stand to attention !!!wink
