First time riding into work tomorrow in the rush hour. And have a nice parking space at work!

Any tips before I do battle?

Leave earlier to arrive earlier, so you don't walk into a packed office wearing leathers and to give yourself time to change into your suit (nice work clothes) that you have already left in the office so it doesn't get creased on the bike.

Now you did remember to take your suit (or nice work clothes) in today didn't you? winkbiggrin

Rucksack + shoes and trousers.

Don't drop it in the carpark.

I've been riding into work recently on my 125. Good fun but it makes me wish I had bought a less tall bike! Some sections of the route in are quite exposed and if its blowy it can be quite 'entertaining'

Remember to pop a wheelie out of the car park at hometime, you'll be the envy of all your schoolmates work colleagues.

Got here at 8.05 am set off 6.55am

The security hadnt been sorted entrance to the building- Admin people!- She did tell me it would be sorted for today. So had to park in Waitrose !furious But will be ok for tomorrow. Hope the bike is ok ?

Had a great ride in, watched other riders and followed them picking up tips on how to deal with road conditions etc, had a chat to a few at traffic lights.
Limehouse Link I did rev it up a little
hehe

Took my time, but felt confident overtaking and pushed on from the lights etc. Bike felt great round corners and easy to handle.

Is it time to go home yet???

Mitzy, if you can, pop back to check on the bike at break time/lunch time. Any toe rags scouting for it may be less inclined if they see you checking it every so often.

Did you stick the steering lock/disc lock/chain on it?
