In France the other weekend for a boys outing my small ventura sports bag decided to make a bid for freedom, where is anyones guess. seeing the post re toolkits reminded me.

Items scattered over the French country side are:
1. OE toolkit, pants anyway as it was Ducati.
2. Duck Tape.
3. Stanley Knife
4. Side stand support
5. Fuses
6. Small can of chain lube.
7. WD40
8. Disc Lock
9. Exhaust Inserts to make them road legal. frown
10.Allen keys.

To cap it all the weather was sh*te all weekend.

I would welcome some views on a good replacement for the disc lock.

OT, i know, but i once lost a phone (nokia 6310i) out of my pocket at proper autobahn speeds on my old blade, noticed it and did a several-mile loop to look for it again (even just to rescue the SIM)
couldn't see it, parked the bike up in the street overnight
came out next morning and found the phone still sitting there, resting neatly between the tank/frame and fairing

Can't help you with the lock but these are available on ebay. Your can supplier will also be able to sell them to you. My beowulf can spat its baffle out one day and a replacement wasn't expensive and arrived quickly.

Lost my ticket for the autopista at 160ish on way to Mugello. None of the following posse stopped to pick it up but didn't get too much grief at the other end when I handed in 7tickets for 8 bikes!
Lost my number plate on way to Barcelona and mate brought me a new one out on his twin CBR. He got stopped leaving the UK and struggled to convince the gestapo that the spare plate on top of his tailpack wasn't getting swapped as soon as he left the UK.
Why do you carry your baffles - in case of sudden ear bleeds??????
