As my bike redlines at 11k and its powerband is from around 7k to 11k, will it damage it or blow up if i say, go from a 30 limit to NSL and keep it in the powerband as i acsell?

i tend to kick it to the highest gear poss round town but when NSL looms i give it some. (nsr125 btw)

also, will running into the red once or twice do any damage, i try not to enter it but have done twice when getting used to the bikes power. it caught me out and hit the limiter before i realised.

its designed to be used in the powerband so no it wont do any damage. hitting the limiter isnt a good thing to do but its not going to any damage occasionally either, the limiter stops it reving fast enough to do damage.
just dont hold it near the redline for ages as that can cause problems, normally getting too hot firstly.

lol, I am not rude to 'aptly named 'the beast' lol, when the time comes heh, bimble round town then when NSL comes along, open her up.

i realise how slow it is compaired to a GSXR600 lol, went to see someone which required me to go a bit on a duel carrige way, this gixxer pulled up next to me, i tryed to keep up but there was no chance, although, i did keep up for all of about 100 yards heh

You'll only learn by making your own mistakes.

Keep it pinned, that's what small bikes are for.

It's a 125 with an 11K redline - therefore it is specifically designed to be kept between 10K and 12K rpm at ALL times - especially when cold. It's what 17 year olds do.
