Pretty self explanatory this one - anyone had any experience of Shark lids? Good or bad.

It's not a make stocked by either of the bike shops I go to but I think they look the business. One downside is I'm not sure they have pin-lock visors which I think are excellent.

afaik you can retrofit pinlocks to most helmets can't you?

No idea about shark, but I'm one of the many who put their faith in a very small number of brands.

I've stuck with Shark lids for many years, as they fit my head perfectly from the moment I buy them, till the day I bin them.

Other brands I have tried have been noisy, itchy on my scalp, directed a jet of air directly into my eyes with the visor slightly open, etc. etc.

As for impact testing, well always 10/10 for myself , family and friends. TTBH , I've never witnessed any helmet failing in a true accident

Downside is the lack of a pinlock system, usually manage fine with pink goo on the inside of visor from time to time.
