It's bloody windy !

took the bike out for a quick blat this afternoon coming back home i went past a gateway doing about 75 and the wind caught the bike and blew me onto the verge
, havent got a clue how a kept it upright or stopped it from eating hedge and chucking me off , So go carefull out there !

However side winds are awful whilst wheelying.
There was a fair breeze on Sunday which meant a few 3rd gear mingers landed ahead of schedule.
Glad you kept it upright though Dennis. I've done the whole verge-tracking thing on the road and it's never fun. More fill-your-pants scary.

Side wind. Hmmmm, never a good thing.
I would imagine that if you were a track which is right next to an airfield, like, say Nogaro... and the wind gets up. Well, you could easily get blown to the side of the track whilst on the back wheel in 3rd gear at about 120 mph... Who knows, it could even cause an embarrassing 'feet off the pegs' slapper down the straight. Ahem.
