Just managed to hole the sump of the Blackbird on the way home (don't ask how), total oil loss. Luckily most of it is now covering the pavement outside Dobles (which happened to be on the way home). As pointed out to me by 2 pedestrians. 'I hope your going to clean that mess up'. Right.

With that, and the Tiger chain breaking yesterday I think I'm going to bed for the rest of the week

I'm down to my last bike, and I don't call her 'Ole Faithful' for nothing

hopefully it won't cost too much to repair. I'm just a bit miffed, as I've done than less than 400 miles since I bought it.....I hadn't realised Hodna made their sumps out of chocolate

Still, a least the old Triumph is reliable (and solid)...Go figure...

Judging by the large pool of oil outside the Honda shop and the 2 complaints from pedos, i reckon.

Noticed it about 2 mins before i got to the shop, the temp guage hadn't risen and the oil light was only just starting to ficker on when i got there.

I was very lucky I reckon, or maybe i should reserve that comment til I get the bill
