Black Screen - which one?
Discussion
you can either get a double bubble (around 40 quid, or go for a race screen - which is slightly less elegant, but provides slightly more wind protection if you get down below the fairing. These should also be around 40 quid. Don't bother with an iridium screen or anything like that , cos a) they look crap b) get scratched easily... (IMHO)
I had an Acrybre sp?(which are a well known make) tinted flip screen and within a year or so it had lots of hairline cracks in it. IIRC it cost about £40 - but in the bin now and got a higher (race/flip?) version from Ducati performance which is more flexible and still looks good after nearly 3 years.

I have fitted a Harris black screen to my 954. Seams to have a bit of vibration with it at motorway + speeds...Not too sure why. My last blade, a 99 rrx had more bracing around the top of the fairing which supported the top of the screen more, which this one lacks. Could be reason for the problem.
Anyway at 6' 4" no screen is going to be perfect but at least the 100% black screen looks good.

Tony, why not a clear screen and a black visor?
Ive got a very Black visor......but feel that the bike would look even better than it is already with a Black screen.
(Seem to be spending more time looking at the bike rather than riding it.......call me a fair weather biker!)

Everything apart from the small index plate....out of everything, they are the things that invite trouble.
Most...nearly all Trafpols, wouldnt do a thing about tinted visors and race Cans....but small index plates are like a red rag to a bull...
