Have you noticed how, when you commute on the bike in reasonable weather, the trip becomes an absolute pleasure and it seems to set me up in a happy frame of mind ready for a day at the office.

Anyone else think this, or am I preaching to the converted?

When it's going right it's a wonderful way to travel. On the flipside I was nearly wiped out on Friday by a red light jumping pikey fraud escort.

Totally agree, a nice dry day makes a huge difference to the daily commute.

Just to dampen the atmosphere a little though one of my work collegues was killed on the A2 last Tuesday on his CBR600F. It was quite a shock to everyone at work and I saw the accident signs this morning appealing for witnesses just to remind me how dangerous this hobby can be.

Ride safe.

When I come in on the bike I find that Friday afternoons a far better as I have something to look forward to on the longest afternoon, instead of looking forward to the car-park all the way home

fKing hell talk about jinx it.

first of all i get some yobo on a 50cc scooter come from across the road cut in front of me to get into a turning (at a set of lights)and then accuse me that i was in the wrong even though i had a green light and i know that the filter light for him wasn't lit.

Then i get some tw8t in a red Audi pulling out further in the middle of the road so that i can't pass him as he is stuck is the traffic on the A2 and then finally i get another $hit for brains on a bicycle thinking that its ok for them to carry on at a junction even though their light is red and mine is green (i'm on the ing main road for s sake) and then for him to give me the finger.

Whats wrong with people these days can't they wait for a nanosecond. I hate these bicycles that think that they can do what they want though. This is dangerious. (and all within a 2mile radius of Old Kent Road, dump)

thanks

You just have to remember that everyone is out to get you!

It can be very dangerous but it is addictive!
