Well? I thought 650 was pretty good since end of Jan. Just had the 1st service! love it. Hope to get loads more miles in soon, possibly tomorrow if it isn't too frosty. No point in rodgering the fairing on ice when you can wait for a nice hot day & hoon it properly.

I got in about 950, as I had done about 100 on my bike till new year, and then have had to get it run in.

I'm now at about 1050.

Picked the bike up last week and it's just pd down

Should have quadrupled it by the end of the weekend though, I bet not many of you can say that

I feel your pain! Picked mine up 2 weeks ago and managed to get 300 miles in by riding in the evenings after work. Have taken a few days off to get some proper miles in but bly rain kept getting in the way

Bit o' rain won't hurt you, and it's good practise for your throttle control......

Come to think of it the last 3 bikes I've bought and run-in were all in the rain.......

True, but how can you really appreciate the good days when you have no bad days to gauge them against....

It'd be like riding a flat roller-coaster

Agreed but i have a good memory! When i raced i actually did better in the wet, you're right it teaches you to be smooth. Just not keen on wet public roads, maybe i should slow down.....hmm...nah!

Finally finished running-in today - 220 miles in the damp, misty rubbish that the weather people call sunshine. Now had its first service and is ready for hooning properly

The sound as you get up to 7k and beyond is soooooo worth the wait

Stopped at the petrol station by the A3/A31 jn at about 9:45 and saw a load of bikes go past - any of you lot?

Around 6,500 this year, I don't stop for winter either

Mind you, what a difference the sun makes to the past couple of rides home, love it!
