748 vs 749

Any views on this? Currently I own the former, but have seen a few 749's around town I'm warming to the slightly off the wall design...has anyone owned a 748 and moved the the 749?

748/9** shape arguably the most sublime bike ever to grace the queens highways have not ridden a 749 yet but would have to be exceptional to make me want to trade my 748.

Agreed 749 / 999's all rock. Took a 749s out a while back, when i can justify buying one I WILL. Fanflipin tastic.

Never riden a 748, going by Veetwins riding through last summer, could do with taking the shopping basket off the front!! Only kidding M3IKEA!

Seems to hnadle off rodaing quite well!! May leave the shopping basket on there as it calms the rebound a bit!

Did anyone see the facelift 999 in MCN last week?
IMHO it looks 150% better than the current bike. There is just something missing with the 749/999 at the moment.
