does anyone know if spoked wheels built in Japan from the likes of Honda,Yamaha,Suzuki,Kawasaki are laced up by machine or by hand?I know they are very automated with engines been put together by robotic machinery but i can't find any info on wheels.
Just posted on the off chance anyone has seen the production line or something similar.
Any thoughts on this greatly appreciated, cheers

I'd imagine they are laced on a machine BY hand. If you ring 'central wheels' (google it) or Talon UK, they'll both be able to point you in the right direction.

Either way, I don't think it will preclude you from having to manually re-torque your nipples (that's spoke nipples kids) when the wheel has bedded in.

The Raleigh pedal bike company have an automatic spoke lacer, so I guess Jap motorbike manufacturers would probably have similar technology.
