The justice system has failed Gary Greaves and his family. Those of you that defended Timothy Wolfe's actions, after reading Mrs. Greaves post, should be ashamed of yourselves. Despite your ignorance of the facts and reactionary comments, your instincts were wrong.
MrsG - You have my deepest condolences, please ignore any horrible things you read about the tragic loss of your husband. These people know nothing of your husband or the events of that day, it is just mindless internet drivel.
I'm going to post this and ill undoubtedly get flamed for doing this.MrsG - You have my deepest condolences, please ignore any horrible things you read about the tragic loss of your husband. These people know nothing of your husband or the events of that day, it is just mindless internet drivel.
I don't know either side, nor will I ever. I have read MrsG's post with sympathy, but it can not be taken as the truth. It is her side of events, which will be biased in favour of her husband and against the farmer.
I am truly sorry for her loss and I do not believe that anyone deserves to lose their life over such a trivial matter. However, we have a justice system in this country and the farmer was found unanimously not guilty by a jury of his peers. There is something in that that needs to be understood.

But also a very nicely put post quoted above.
It was interesting that the poster who flamed me above put the flaming before his condolences. Hmm. I feel no shame about expressing an opinion based on the few facts known at the time.
Are you calling me a liar??? What reason do I have to lie. I told factual information that took place in a so called place of law. I'm not a bad person neither was my husband. An injustice has taken place and it's my right to correct anyone who comments incorrectly on what has happened. Yes, I think you should close this thread and as for you STHi, - I don't want your sympathy. God help the rest of us with people like you in this world.
Thankyou to all you genuine and kind heated people who have expressed your condolences. It means allot. You STHi are excluded from this.

Agree it may be time to close this thread. Opining on matters such as this at a safe, objective distance seems in poor taste now, given the reality of the circumstances for MrsG.
