I am truly sorry for her loss and I do not believe that anyone deserves to lose their life over such a trivial matter. However, we have a justice system in this country and the farmer was found unanimously not guilty by a jury of his peers. There is something in that that needs to be understood.

Firstly my condolences to MrsG.

But also a very nicely put post quoted above.

It was interesting that the poster who flamed me above put the flaming before his condolences. Hmm. I feel no shame about expressing an opinion based on the few facts known at the time.

Are you calling me a liar??? What reason do I have to lie. I told factual information that took place in a so called place of law. I'm not a bad person neither was my husband. An injustice has taken place and it's my right to correct anyone who comments incorrectly on what has happened. Yes, I think you should close this thread and as for you STHi, - I don't want your sympathy. God help the rest of us with people like you in this world.

Agree it may be time to close this thread. Opining on matters such as this at a safe, objective distance seems in poor taste now, given the reality of the circumstances for MrsG.
