A really big thank you to Ade and Nigel for coming over yesterday to change my gasket. A really educational (long) day. beer

You're welcome Tony - a very productive day. thumbup
Just to put others in the know, we replaced the head gaskets on Tony's Gen1 yesterday and fitted nice new Cometic ones.
Changed the busted thermostat too.
Not quite enough time though to finish the job and fire-her-up.

All back together now but having changed the headers for Gen 2 tubular I realised they have a different connector to the elbows. Does anyone have a pair of v ring connectors kicking about.

Did you get the turn outs (cats) with your gen 2 headers ??
Gen 1 and 2 are different and dont match up ...
