There is a 97 viper currently being advertised which has white wheels! anyone know the history on the white wheels, did the owner strip the chrome and powder coat them?

Although the vast majority of GTS coupes came from the factory with polished wheels, painted wheels were supplied on a small number of vehicles - white wheels on blue coupes or yellow wheels on red coupes it seems.
