A dude from Mobil spoke at length on the ratings at the CCCUK Nats, apparently you cant compare US and European viscosities. 10/30 US is closest to 0/40 here, which is what he recommends. I think the UK spec LS7 Z06 has a sticker to this effect on the door sill.

yes its 10W/30 factory spec brought in from the US, you cant buy this spec direct in the UK, though you can go to a dealership like Whitehouse or US Automotive
