part of e mail sent to me a few days ago--At today's exchange rate the price is £95,000 on the road in the UK.
colour as their advert on pistonheads.

i am considering getting one but only if i sell my one first.
is it possible to send a car back to the states as a trade in for a new one as selling a viper over here might take a while?

thats a nice £14 grand profit if they can sell it

Phil took his euro GTS when he moved to FL, lots of aggro getting out of the US docks and registering it

also the US market is saturated with vipers you only need to look around to see how cheap they go for, any trade in price would be quite low, less than you would get for it here

it could be worth waiting for a better exchange rate to, you could save a few dollars

i have seen one listed at less than $97,000 buy it now from a main dealer but it sold within a day, so there are some better deals to be had.
i wonder if you buy one for export will they cancel the gas guzzling tax?

a couple on ebay at 99, worth a call to Chuck to see what he can do and someone who is used to exporting to the UK

its very difficult to buy a brand new car if you dont have a US address, some law against
sending new over here, but no problem with used

Don't forget thought that those prices on ebay for new cars are still subject to state taxes and i'm pretty sure you have to pay them somewhere and need a resident to title it before you can export. Second hand ones are a different matter of course but few and far between, and you may end up with one covered in salt.

i know in FL on a used if you drive it way you pay sales tax, but if you have a container delivered to the dealership or have it trailored to the docks it can be avoided, may vary from state to state

i doubt that Tony espicially on a ACR what this thread is about, or even a new 08/09. Maybe on a used car, but there's so many cheapies in the US so much cheaper than the UK market prices, ive seen a low mileage 06 coupe for less than $50K and loads of gen2's for about £20K. The coupes still seem to be going for more than the convert's

nismo there a white 09 (not an ACR) already at a dealership in the US, so get your order in, 09 orders are being taken now smile
