Christmas Dinner

Thanks to everyone that attended our Viper Christmas Dinner on Saturday, I hope you all got home safe and sound, the weather was a bit crisp and even, very appropriate for our dinner.
Paul and I had a great time and big thanks to Neilsfishing and VIPER for the wonderful gifts.
Just to let other members of the club who did not attend know, Paul made a few presentations to:

Mich and Suzy for organising so many Northern runs
Barry as our confirmed Technical Director
Neil as our Webmaster
and after a secret ballot!!!!
Dave White as our new Vice President, who although has only been a part of the viper "family" a couple of years, has always been very diplomatic and eager to help resolve any issues.
Congrats to all and a Very Happy Christmas (thats me singing carols)

Previously in another post I said:

A big thankyou for the support from everyone involved in the decision making process and presentation of my new piece of glassware, it was completely unexpected, and as I said on saturday I really don't know what to say other than thankyou. I will do everything I am able to do to help.

I was not expecting it at all, it is very nice to know that I am thought of so highly by so many people, and as I have said I will happily help out wherever I am able, thankyou all again.

Of course I am yet to be advised what my role will entail, so I might not be quite so enamored once this is clarified... LOL!!

I hope everyone has a great Christmas and New Year, and look forward to seeing you all again in 2009!
