you dont need your own paypal account to pay online.

Just got my email from kim confirming my 09 membership. Much better that we got something to confirm they have the application rather than the usual 3 month wait and wonder if something has gone wrong

Well I have been waiting for two months without any response but I assume as I have now received the mag that I am a member. Is the number quoted on the address label my membership number.

yep looks like the number just above your name is your membership number. As bad as it sounds, and i have to say finding out your membership number that way after two months is pretty bad, the process this year for me has had a lot more feedback that it is actually happening that years gone past. Normally its well into the new year that you get any indication its gone through when they finally charge the credit card, then after what seems like another age the membership pack turns up, after the first year you are never sure if the jan mag is the first of this years membership or the last of last. This year though the money went in a timely manner and the email yesterday from kim just confirmed things. You would have thought though that they would get some of the early joiners and renewals out of the way in December to make things easier in jan but it doesn't seem to work that way. To many party's in the holiday season i guess.
