I googled Stub
An article too short to provide more than rudimentary information about a subject should be marked as a stub by adding a stub template from the list here to the end of the article. Anyone can edit a stub article, or remove a stub template from an article which is no longer a stub.

Dextron III is ringing a bell, but, from a quick search on VCA:
"According to the Spring 08' issue of Viper magazine, you should use ATF +4 (full synthetic) Dodge part # 05013457AA. 4 quarts (3.8L). If you are having any neutral gear rattle, use Mopar Synthetic Manual Transmission Lubricant, Dodge part # 04874459. Do not mix gear oil with ATF."
Also:
"many dealers no longer have Mopar Dexron III...and, as noted, in the Viper Mag it says that ATF+4 is the official replacement"

Another comment found on VCA
"YOUR Viper's factory fill of tranny fluid was likely MOPAR's Dexron III...often upgraded (for Neutral Gear Rattle) to MOPAR's Synthetic Manual Transmission Lubricant 75W-85."
"Keep in mind, that Dexron III is no longer available at most Dodge dealerships...BUT, as noted in a recent issue of Viper Magazine, MOPAR's ATF+4 is listed as a substitute for the Dexron III."

The wiki had the part no for the synthetic oil but the change procedure was yet to be written. i have just added the best i could from memory and being 4000 miles away from my service manual, so apologies if some specifics are missing.
Jesus!!! Are you ever NOT on holiday!!??? That would explain the lack of response to my text the other night... RT/10Dave said:
