well i have finaly finished and she is now rolling again
all the underneath is spotless , replacement diff in (thanks bob for the spare)
Decatted exhaust, cills all repainted ,oil and filter changed and all the riv nuts done for now
just waiting for the AEM this week and we are rocking .

by the way has anyone elce tried to get there car of 4 stands with one jack
its almost impossible

What did you use the riv nuts for because I wondered if they could be used on the sills instead of those rusty old pointed bolts.

thats very kind of you but i have another on its way from michelin, as my second one i had jamed solid upright the other day when i was doing the rear breaks on my van.and it wont come down
As for the rivnuts i have done loads of little bits ,mainly where there are those crappy self tappers , and yes did under the cills with m6 stainless looks great if you need any stainless let me know i have loads

Nice pictures Richard - I need to do my sills this Winter too so will probably call if I get to the point where I've removed every screw I can find but they 'sill' won't come off - you get those moments sometimes, don't you???...... Well I do!
I replaced a few rivnuts and fitted SS bolts last year when I had the fascia off - well worth doing for a first class finish - attention to detail!
