I know its not Viper related but faintly similar (fast rear wheel drive with no electronics) and food for thought. I take my car up and down this road quite a bit and my girlfriend uses it every day.

that was one bad smash. Trees don't give. Did you read the comments below? What is up with some people? 'he drives a red porsche he must have been speeding' no perhaps he enjoyed driving. Hope his wife pulls through.

Its quite a steep hill with two lanes going up and one coming down and its quite twisty as well. One of my friends parents bought a new car and let him take some of my other friends out in it (when we were at college) on that same hill and possibly at the same point he managed to lose control and roll it, it was only the trees that stopped him rolling about a quarter of a mile down the hill. They'd had the car 3 hours!

The comments are from the local nimbys, the hill is on the south downs and its got the most stunning view point at the top so you get lots of those type of people wondering about there. Its also a popular motorbike meeting point...
