I'm sure I remember some pics being posted of some flying leads to allow the optimate to be attached without having to open the hood. Can't find them......scratchchin

You can hard wire your optimate using supplied leads, you can buy these as an accessory if they weren't supplied in your kit... It is the set on the left of this photo:



They reach far enough, as you say so that you don't need to open the hood... I'll show you mine on sunday if you promise to let me have a good listen to your exhaust... (I'm leaning down the Roe route)

You can get the acc lead from a local motor bike shop too.

I got the cigarette lighter plug in which is even easier. You can make one yourself cheaper though. The connectors are the same as those used in Radio Control Car battery leads and available at model shops.

Though you liked your current exhaust?

I have the fibreglass sills on now, pleased with them, Colin did a great job

Made my own... Because i wanted it a bit longer to make things easier...........
