Roe Racing Viper Engine Controller VEC3

I have a complete system for sale - comes with new installation kit, software etc.
I ordered from the states for my SRT 10 but it took solong to arrive I had sold the motor by the time it turned up!

i have got one, and all the software .Z yes they are different they are far more programable
i also have fan override kit and manual set stat if anyone is interested.

Fishy, would that be 'I have a fan override kit for sale'? Would it be a nice shiny new one in a box/bag with instructions and the ability to set at what temperature it comes on at?

But back to the point - Roe Racing VEC 3 still for sale if anyone interested. it is surplus to requirements so provided the offer isnt an outright insult someone could get a real bargain here.

I'm looking to borrow / buy a VEC2 controller to diagnose a problem that has recently occured. Meth pump recently started cutting in randomley when turning the ignition on. Turning ignition on and off a few times cured the problem. However I recently drove the car when it started missing and backfiring. Within a couple of hundred yards The car was undrivable.

I spoke to Sean at Roe who assured me that it would be a wiring / sensor problem. and after checking all the connections and resoldering a few, pluged it all back together and it seemed to be fine.

However problem is back again, so I decided to reprogram the VEC2 - problem is it doesn't read the program cards !!

Nothing wrong with the smart cards, VEC2 program on my computer reads them fine.

Is the VEC3 a direct replacement for the VEC2 - Can it be plugged straight in ? If not I would like to buy or borrow a VEC2 and see if this is the source of the problems.

Hi Crackle, all those VEC's above are for GEN 2 or 3, I believe your car is a GEN 1. I'm not an expert so unsure if they are all the same (I know the wiring is differant) I have a GEN 1 VEC that i don't think i will need due to change of plans. Send me a PM if interested
