Great program, the more you see and hear about Chrysler the more stupid they seem. If this dealership program is a typical example of how they work out and execute corporate strategy, no wonder they are in a mess!!.
Perhaps a new set of business analysts would be a good new start for them, Chuck could do that in his spare time.
Chuck, I'm sure you are too busy now to read this, but all the very best to you, heres hoping that it all works out the right way for you. Looking forward to visiting you in August, all the best to all at Tators Dodge

Really interesting stuff, makes me even more confused as to why Chrysler have taken the decision to do what they are doing... Especially considering the fact that Tator's doesn't cost them a penny to exist... I just hope the legal powers see how ridiculous this situation is and take the correct steps to stop this from happening. If nothing else the history and loyalty should mean something to these people, I find it utterly unbelievable that it is just brushed aside by Chrysler.
Thank you all for your support! It looks like I may be testifying next week? The best thing is, I will be heard!
Take a look at the amount of views the documentary has had?!

Couldn't quite make out what was going on, there are dealerships down here in FL that are shutting up their dodge bits from Monday so i was fearing the worst for you, but they were multi brand with the japs, so i guess they just gave in. Its good to hear you are still in the fight.
Make them see sense.

Despite a concerted effort to save the dealership, Tator’s Dodge in South Salem will now be known as Tator’s Garage, after bankruptcy court Judge Arthur Gonzalez approved Chrysler’s plan to shut down almost 800 Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge dealerships around the country. The move is not fatal to Tator’s — the 95-year-old dealership, the oldest Dodge dealership in the country, sold only a handful of cars each year — but it does mean that Tator’s no longer has access to Dodge parts or diagnostic technology, and cannot perform warranty repairs on Chrysler vehicles.
“They shut us down,” said Charles “Chuck” Tator, grandson of the dealership’s founder. “Our fates were sealed months ago; they just strung us along.”
Mr. Tator said that he was working on deals to obtain parts from nearby dealers so that he could continue his repair business, and would likely apply to Chrysler to become a parts and service center after the company’s bankruptcy reorganization is complete.
A world-known expert on Dodge Vipers, Mr. Tator said that he would continue to work on them, and that, if the Viper branch of Chrysler gets sold off — a possibility that first emerged last year — he would likely apply to be a Viper dealership.
Despite Mr. Gonzalez’s decision, Congressman John Hall, whose 19th District includes Lewisboro, has co-sponsored a bill to protect automobile dealers. The Automobile Dealer Economic Rights Restoration Act of 2009 would require Chrysler and General Motors to reinstate franchised dealerships at the dealers’ requests.
But Mr. Tator is not enthusiastic about the bill’s success.
“We’re all shut down right now — all 789 dealers are dead in the water,” Mr. Tator said. “If it’s going to go through, it had better happen in a week. Unless it happens within a week, some of those guys are going to run out of parts.”
Mr. Tator said that his dealership, however, would survive the shut-down, and continue.
