There has been a little bit of speculation that I have been up to something over the last couple of weeks... I can now officially confirm that this was very true!

There has been a couple of people who have assisted in my plan, and I must send thanks, you know who you are.

Today, I took delivery of a beautiful Blue & White GTS... I am officially in love again!

To fill in a rather long story in as short a fashion as possible, my RT, which I still love dearly, and which will be sorely missed, went to a new owner last wednesday. Following the agreement of the sale, I was on the lookout for it's replacement, which I found in the guise of a club owned Blue & White GTS, owned by Rob & Dee, who had been toying with selling. The car arrived at my house (along with a Yellow and Black Klingon who's driver had heard that there was food in the offering), photos will follow in due course, but I can't thank Rob & Dee enough for parting with their pride & joy... I am officially chuffed to bits!

The new owner of my RT, who is already a PH member, will be along shortly, he has been holding off from posting until everything was finalised and until Rob had had the chance to break the news to a special someone... wink

Thanks again to Rob & Dee, and thanks for a great day, we all really enjoyed ourselves, it was great to see you again.

Amelia and I went out for a run after the GP finished, now looking forward to Brunters next weekend for my first long run in the new beast!

Thanks mate, I am chuffed with my new purchase.

Fridge is ok, got an industrial hasp and staple fitted yesterday, so he's headed on over to Kent for a BBQ instead... laugh

Very much hoping that we get some good weather next weekend!

Understandable, I'll leave the decision making on this to my host the night before.

It's been an interesting few days! Last Monday I got a text from Dave saying "give me a call when you have a sec, relatively important". I called him at lunchtime when I nipped out of work to get some sandwiches (BLT's by the way...and yes they were nice!) and within the space of a few minutes he'd talked me into selling the GTS. Damn you Vice-President! When Dave told me he'd already sold his RT/10 I could tell he was desperate to upgrade to a faster colour wink so we took pity on him and agreed to sell.

Dee & I have had an amazing 7 years (and 2 months!) with our Viper, learnt a lot, done some memorable miles, been to some fantastic events, ate far too much food (gotta love those NVR meals and who can forget Sir Steve's BBQ's!) but MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL we've made some really great mates. We'll still come along to as many events as we can and......we'll be back one day with another Viper (don't want this username for long!)

Today's 'delivery drive' was very sad but thanks to Rich & Fee for joining us on the last few miles for one last convoy. Thanks to Lou for feeding us as well yum Dave, we know the car has gone to a great home, enjoy every mile driving

It's been a blast guys, we'll see you again very soon.

Rob & Dee xx

Congratulations Dave and commiserations Rob and Dee. For me it will be very strange not to see Dave in his beautifully presented RT/10 as meeting both he and Richard at Goodwood were part of my introduction to the club and in the space of less than 2 years both have new cars.
