Wings & Wheels - 30/8/09 - Anyone going??

As you know, Wings & Wheels is on the 30/8/09, a large number of the UK Club are unfortunately in Germany that weekend, but I wondered if anyone not in Germany was still planning on attending at Dunsfold?

Yep, I had to contact the powers that be in Brooklands, After they looked at the pics of my FAST RED CAR they invited me to apply. I now await tickets!!!

I'm undecided at the moment Mark, I had an invite to do what I did last year, but with the change of car being imminent it was difficult to know what was happening or what I would be driving so I haven't got back to them yet... I'm assuming to be honest that it might be a bit late now anyway.

After spectating last year and listening to the commentators marvelling over the Ferraris and Mercs & Cobras etc..and how wonderful they were. When the Vipers & Vettes came down in the afternoon they were referred to as "a selection of American plastic."

I don't think they deserve us!

I have to say that did cross my mind... My wife got a bit of video of me on the runway, and you could hear some of the commentary on it, I didn't hear that comment, but what you could hear was rather halfhearted and non-factual, I'll have to take a look at it again and remind myself of what he says.

Actually, there is a GP to watch and it's at Spa - we'll be less than an hour away! If oney wasn't tight at the moment, I'd ben tempted to get a ticket and watch it for real
