Hi All
Well what a day !!!!
Drove my car with trailor from tip of Cornwall to chatham docks Kent ,to collect my new viper .. EXCITEMENT levels through the ceiling bounce

Get to the whare house , stood in front the roller doors waiting for them to open , then finally after all this time my first sight of my baby woohoo
after drooling for ages , and suddenly becoming a 5 year old boy in a sweet shop , i got down to the job in hand of moving my car

All my excitement very quickly dissapeared as i suddenly realised ,after lots of measuring before i left home , IT WOULDN'T FIT ON TRAILOR ....headache

Unfortunately it took me to re-arrange the cills weeping to realise this !!!!furious

Eventually after a good few hours , and some modifications to the trailor we managed to get it on , and off i went to drop it off at Baz's ( just up the road , not !!)

BUT the saga didn't end there !!!! the car came off quite sweetly at Baz's place , but during that process , managed to rip all the wires from the trailor plug !!!furious Now facing the prospect of 6 hour drive back to cornwall in the dark with no trailor lights .
At least it was a good test of Baz's electrical prowess !!!!!biggrin eventually got it sorted , with a little help , Thanks Pete !!!!!!!! and got under way .

After a painfull drive on the M25 ( hour and a half traffic jam ) which might be normall for you guys , but us country folk ( who think 2 cars and a tractor is rush hour biglaugh) it was no fun frown . But at least i got home in one piece even though it was 2.20 am !!sleep

BUT THE MORAL OT THE STORY IS ........... I DONT CARE , AND I WOULD DO IT ALL AGIN , BECAUSE I'M NOW A VIPER OWNER cloud9woohoo

Well done Les, but whats the story then with the side sills? Have you just lightly scratched the paint or are they dented? Did you damage both or just one side? Baz knows a guy who is good for paintwork in his area.

So hows the rest of the car? The interior looked fab in the listing photos is it as good as you expected?

So when's the MOT / SVA etc booked for? When do you think you will be ready for your first outing?

Because the car is an import, you are allowed to have Motorcycle size letters and numbers, however if you want the plates to be super dooper legal they must also have the BS, British Standard (bullst) mark on the reflective background rolleyes
