Chuck I need 2 x front sensor 2 x rear on my 2002, the ABS fails just when you need it, I have had a look at the sensors they look ok, the ABS light comes on and then after 1 hr or 2 days etc. it goes off, I was going to start by changing the sensors and bleeding the system
Nad many thanks for helping
still flat spotted a big bit of rubber woohoo

My goodness is that your ramp, I'm impressed, nice one.

Had a quick check in the manual, do you have one for your year, as being as your into electrics you can ohm test the wheel speed sensors, values are in the book. I would check all the connections on the sensors (they are good locked weather proof plugs) but pull apart contact-cleaner and re plug is worth a try. It could be it dropped out a signal on a sensor, that would cause it to fail for a mo. As resistance increases with heat, I'd get your voltmeter out next. Also worth a check is that its got a good earth. It might be worth seeing if Chrysler can help out, they have DRB logger (like a black box) they can run in car while you drive about a bit, and capture condition / code. Good luck with it, you don't want any more canvas tire moments!

The pcm may even keep a history of codes and say what sensor is causing the fault..

Sounds like you had quite an excursion....Time for some Toyo 888's then...

EDIT Nad got there first......

Hi Neil,

Nad is right, do a little more testing to see which one of the sensors may be bad [run codes]. Let me know what you need.

Cheers
Chuck
