After a year off myself & the wife are hosting our Village Fayre & Car Show on September 12th.
It's a great event that has a real relaxed english village atmosphere along with a US feels to things due to all the local servicemen & women who attend a support, we had over 150 american, hot rod, english, vintage & veteran cars atttend last time with prizes for best in show.
If any PistonHead or other fellow car / bike nuts are free we'd love to see you, last time the best in show 'childrens choice' went to a Corvette (might have been something to do with all the free sweets the owner was giving away).
Following on from the last event this time we'll have a proper US spec BBQ (need a pick-up to tow it) & the food to match!!
ALL funds raised go to taking the village children on trips & outings, below is a summary of what will be going on on the day.

‘A Traditional Village Fayre with American, English, Classic & Vintage Cars & Motorcycles.
Lots of fun events and stalls for all ages’
AMERICAN CIVIL WAR EN-CAMPMENT
CLASSIC CARS & MOTORCYCLES
(WITH TROPHIES FOR BEST IN SHOW)
RE-ENACTMENT SHOWS THROUGHOUT THE DAY
DANCING MUTTS DOG DISPLAY TEAM
BIRDS OF PREY TRADITIONAL FAYRE STALLS
GROWLIES DOG CLUB LOTS OF CHILDREN’S ACTIVITIES
FOOD STALLS & B-B-Q CAR BOOT
LOCAL FARM PRODUCE BOUNCY CASTLE & MUSIC
AGILITY & SCURRIES
(BRING YOUR OWN DOG & HAVE A GO)

(Welney is a small village 10 minutes from Ely off of the A10)
