Well what a difference a dry day makes
Got there very early was one of the first in the paddock! I was the only Viper!!
Did a total of 4 runs up the runway, on the first run, they told us there would be a chap waving a chequered flag at the start of the braking area, Well I kept looking for him only to find to my horror he was standing at the end of the tarmac with the chequered flag still rolled up
Have to say my right foot had never worked so fast pumping the brake pedal!!!!! We were doing well over 150
I was up next to a Blue C5 Corvette, (well only for a little while)
My son had to look behind us to see where where he was
Later in the day we did another two runs, however the best we could manage was 149mph with the smell of a hot clutch!
Have to say I really enjoyed it, and just to top the day off the Vulcan bomber made an appearance along with the Euro fighter
Felt a bit sorry for one chap entering the pit area in his AC Cobra, one of the pins on the rubber mats put down on the grass ripped off his exhaust pipe!

Good to meet you today Mark. I wish I could have had the chance to run the Z06 against the Viper. Our car drove home perfectly, with no oil problems, so its only when under load. We will get it sorted, so maybe next year? My whole family agreed that your car looked fabulous! Wondering whether to post a thank you on the Porsche forum for making our Nissan GTR so welcome in their section.
Brilliant, you've got to do that
Really pleased everything worked out OK
There's bound to be another time we can get together
Le Mans
Have to say on the initial start up to go home mine was blowing out a bit of blue smoke? However by the time I got home all seemed well? No problem with the clutch either? Think Ill keep my eye on this
Great looking car you've got there
