one for Nigel just spoken to Chris tonight, Chris's starter motor failed the day before NVR but he didnt tell us until the following morning when the run started so we didnt have time to sort anything out

after the NVR weekend Nigel kindly posted his spare gen1 starter motor to Chris within a few days, not knowing if it would fit correctly, well yesterday Chris finally got to fit it !! nothing like taking your time smile I thought it was all sorted months ago

anyway Nigel it worked fine and fired up first time, absolutly no difference between the gen1 and gen2 starter motor afterall according to Chris, everything lined up perfectly. Expect some contact from Chris this week

That's great news - glad Bling's spare parts have been put to good use and got another Viper back on the road.

Yes think I should hang my head in shame that its taken so long!!
Was a straightforward job too only took 2hrs with cake break!
Big thank you to Nigel for the starter and sorry I haven't been in touch, I've lost your e-mail address so if you could e-mail me I can contact you personally to say thanks.
Going for a drive on Sunday was great though, felt like the first time, so wait was worth that
On the cake front mine still don't taste as good as Jenny's !!!
