You can put the coordinates into Google Earth and it takes you straight there, if money is tight though this trip should be put on the back burner... It's a LONG way away, so lots of fuel will be needed... frown

Here it is on Google Maps if you don't have Google Earth:

http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&source=hp&...

1,475 miles and nearly 28 hours of driving to get there

Zub, if you wake up one morning on a spur of the moment and decide you want to go and feel the need to pay my fuel bills and take me with you then give me a call! biggrin

It's a back burner job for me at the moment

idea Do they still do motor rail? Could put the cars on the train for a while to save wear and tear, then get off near venue for a bit of fun smile

If were driving that road down hill I think new brake pads and a change of fluid would be in order biggrin

Brakes, who's going to use brakes, that much engine braking will have us tiring of all the pops and bangs.

idea

What about the road they did last year? That was considerably closer, (and probably safer to get to)

Or a long weekend up in Scotland? There are some fantastic roads up there too? I did a road trip round Scotland a few years back it was fantastic, pretty easy to find accomodation too... I'm willing to do some digging around and planning if anyone fancies it next year? Take in some nice roads and castles and distilleries. (The food was good up there too!)

Here's the first pic I got putting Scottish road into google images... It's pretty representative of most of the roads we drove round whilst up there, the scenery was amazing... driving
