tyne tunnel

Well after todays meet at Woolsinton I found mystelf on the wrong side of the tyne and so went through the tyne tunnel in my Tiv for the first time ever.

Well worth the 1 squid entry fee!!!!

Brum, Brum Brum, ease off, wait for guy in front to be 100 feet away, change down, ROOOOAAAAR! Don't know if everyone else enjoyed it as much as me (top down too, probably helped)

Yup, makes you all sort of warm inside!!!

Done the same when i bought my previous TVR, a 400SE, nine years ago - roof down early one sunday morning - third gear all the way......great stuff.

I like the tunnel near the central station. When you come out at the other end you usually have a few people looking to see what it was.
