Rev counter lights
Discussion
I've driven the car at night properly for the first in 18 months! anyway the lights don't work on the rev counter. Is this an easy fix or will it have to be sent away to be repaired? Just one other thing, the button above my left knee, whats it for ? I thought it was for the dash lights . thanks in advance
To replace the rev counter lights you will have to remove the top dash and replace 2 x 5W bulbs. I think they are BAT9's
I recently upgraded all mine to LED types. Once the dash is off its fairly straightforward.
The other button underneath dash left knee is the dash lights on / off switch.

That sounds interesting, (LED's).I recently upgraded all mine to LED types. Once the dash is off its fairly straightforward.

What type of LED bulb and where are they obtained from?
You will find the lights on ebay BAX9S LED's
The rev and speedo use two each, other dials use one only. On my 94 chim the clock has a smaller one which i think is a BAX 6. You need to check the diameter again same as 5w though
Mine all came from a firm in Jersey or Guernsey that specialise in after mkt bulbs etc..
