where does the spare wheel go in the boot ?
Discussion
Another daft question - just got my Chimaera and I need to know how and where in the boot does the space saver wheel go ? It was just loose in the boot when I collected the car so I thought I was being clever when I strapped it to the tie down loops on the drivers side but this morning when I went to put the roof panel in it woudn't fit.
Any picture around showing the correct layout please.
I need a "Bible" any one got one for sale - I have an S3 Bible as new which I will advertise on pistonheads if anyone is interested.
Cheers
Steve

Personally I've ditched mine and have a can of sealant instead, makes getting the roof in easier and creates a bit more space for the other half to stuff with all manner of random rubbish.
Me too - to be honest the thought of driving anywhere on that spacesaver is troubling to me, you can only do 50 miles on them IIRC !? srdtvr said:

O/TI've just realised I've been putting my roof in boot the wrong way round for the past two years based on this photo. Whoops! I always had the inside of the roof facing towards the rear of the car, the way in the image does make much more sense though eg curving around the fuel tank.

You learn something new everyday

What do most people do: windscreen side of the roofpanel up or down?
Mine is always down.
Mine is always down.
