I just picked up my first TVR this evening, it's a 1996 Chimaera 400.
It's starmist green with sage leather interior and seems to be pretty much standard at the moment. Everything appears to be working as it should be although I'm sure I'll have some questions at some point. The V8 noise is excellent and the slightly detoured drive home was great. I've only got a couple of pictures of it so far as it's now tucked up in the garage, hopefully I'll get some more soon.

Which boxster did you buy, does it give you no fun?

Great fun and almost as quick as the TVR, plus I now can floor it in the wet and the stability control takes over. Not as noisy also!!Les
I suppose my main "niggle" is I can no longer tinker with the engine as you have to take the car apart to find it!!
All in all a great car with all the mod cons that the Chim did not have, however I do miss the unpredictability of driving a TVR.

In your garage pic of your Chimp, I see a zimmer frame!. Does it fit in the boot or the passenger seat? ha ha. Must be the fastest zimmer in the UK. Keep it up.

is chest hair of yours growing over your eyes now too? all I see is a lawn mower

It is indeed a lawn mower, with rather trendy alloy wheels I must say.Gassing Station | Chimaera | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff

Bought a porsche boxter regreting every second. Great car but not a patch on the Chim. Now searching the adds again for the next one. Once you have had a TVR nothing is ever the same.
