mot .Emmissions help please v8 1986

Hi all.Its aTVR wedge related v8.Iknow wrong forum .But i love all tvrs.Car failed its mot today emmissions sky high.Been off the road for 6 years .one year in my ownership.it does not want to idle .Passed immisions last mot only done 8 miles since.i think something is gummed up .Any help would be good .Thanks for your time .Mike s2 350i 1986.Please excuse my spelling lol.

You need to set the idle to fast, let it run until hot' 10-15 mins just before mot.

Ask for a pre cat mot, they should know!

Italian tune up should sort it ...... if its been standing it wouldnt hurt to give it a good hard drive to clear itself out.
