Seat/Dash Removal
Discussion
Seats are easy - 4 1/2 bolts through the floor. Dash top is easy at the passenger end, a bit of a pain at the driver's end (without cracking the veneer). I have pics on my website of the dash removal - the driver's side bolt is the hardest to reach in my experience.

Undo the bolts underneath the car? Thought about the same seat-out solution to carpet cleaning the other day. Peered underneath, and the seat runner nuts'n'bolts are clearly visible.
If you want to scare yourself at the same time, look underneath while you rock the seat back and forth. It suggests that, if you're heavy like me, standing in the tub where the seat normally goes might be a bad idea.
What are you planning to use to clean your carpets? I'm on the lookout for something evil to penetrate well into my (bloody magnolia) carpets and get damp stains out.

to get the dash off, you need to pull out the heater vent on the drivers side to get to the bolt that goes thru the a post, and loosen it,, this bolt has two nuts on it one on the pannel side to hold the bolt in plce and the other to tighten the dash down in place. there are two more bolts at the other side of the dash, passenger side, one just above the glove pouch panel, unsecrew this pannel and get a spanner in to free of te nut and then spin off with fingers. The other one bolts thu the back of the dash below the vent panel, you have to ly on the floor and rest your head on the batery box to get to that one, watch out for the dust that will fall in your eyes whilst doing this.

Sorry one more!!!!
Just out of interest!!!
Is there a special way of getting the seat bolts undone?????
I can not seem to get any spanner or socket extension on to the bolt as the seat rails are in the way!!!!
Thanks again
Richard
Use an open ender downwards onto the top of the bolt, the rails stop the spanner twisting and you can then undo the nuts from underneath. The Griff/Chimaera bible covers this, of course.
