After a recommendation please for a good book with detail on rebuild and mods for Rover V8 engines.. Now have a 4.6 on my engine stand and have started the tear down ready for a transplant at the end of the summer.

Thanks
David

Rob Robertson's, but the bugger hasn't published it yet hehe

TBH non of the RV8 texts (Hardcastle / Hamill building / modified...) are very complete & loads of irrelevant references so may well confuse rather than aid you if used as a guide rather than just background reading. There tends to more 4.6 & TVR specific detail around even on these pages I'd say.

The hardcastle book mostly covers the history of the RV8 rather than how to rebuild one. Still worth having though.

The Landrover V8 Overhaul Maunual might suit the OP better but still short on TVR specific details.

There are tuning books by both Hardcastle & Hamill, not to be confused with the overview ones.

It was only a suggestion as I don't have a copy anyway wink inclined to agree with Spend that there is plenty of info on here + a couple of well known sites too for all your RV8 needs coffee
