TVR servicing near Chertsey...

Am having to move to Chertsey for a few months for work, and the Chim is going to have to be serviced while I am there.

So does anyone know any dealers or good independants around there?

I think Mole Valley is fairly close, but all suggestions are very welcome....

Seriously though, I rang up yesterday to book up in three weeks time and things are obviously busy as ever there. Amongst the most dedicated and knowledgeable you will find; excellent reputation for fixing things that need fixing and not spending your money on a whim (unlike some you might hear about!). Especially loves the Rover engines...........owns a Griff himself. Good Chap all round!

can't comment on Dave Batty, but plenty of people seem to echo Beano1197's comments.

I have used Fernhusts and Mole Valley for servicing and work and can recommend them both hightly.

Seems we have a wealth of good TVR dealers and independants in the area.

Just picked my Chim up from Dave Battys at 6pm - £270 for a service and a new battery - Runs like a dream!!!

He is very busy at the moment but if you aren't in a real rush it is well worth booking in advance...

Tell him how highly he is regarded on PH and he gets rather embarassed!!

Try Andy at APM, based in Bordon. I wouldn't take my Chim elsewhere. Used by most of the TVRCC at the Hants meet.

Fernhurst has courtesey cars available. That's where I bought my car, and they seemed to know what they are doing. The servicing costs they quoted me look to be about the same as most dealers.. higher than an independent.
