Speedometer stopped working
Discussion
Depends on what's wrong, sorry! - have you copy of the Bible ?? It covers most problems - the leading one as someone has already mentioned (in your other Hijacked thread !!) - the sensor near the rear axle (underneath and up behind the handbrake area).

1600 hrs. - Sanjay - since you insist on posting to a hijacked thread (spark plug thingy extenders??), I'll still reply here - A sensor misalignment/fault will stop the both speedo and odometer. Think you need to get someone to look at it irrespective of whether it'll cost-a-bomb - that way you'll find out.....!!! Or get the Bible. (and No, I'm not anything to do or related in anyway to Steve, the Bible's Author.)

Sanjay,
For your information, both the the speedo and odometer on my 4ltr Chimaera packed up a few weeks ago, when I phoned TVR gear,I got the impression that failure of the speed sensor is a very common fault, the chap instantly knew the price which was £47.77 +VAT and delivery which came to a total of £62.00, and was expecting a batch in that week.
Once jacked up it is a very simple job which should take no more than 15 mins, with the correct size spanners. However if it turns out to be the speedo then this may cost a fair bit more.
