Hi, anyone know of a good place in or near bristol to get my Cpu remapped?

took the pre-cats out over the winter and put a set of flared trumpets , but have noticed a little dead spot at around 3000rpm so thinking might need the thing remapped .

14CUX, no one near Bristol, its far to old for any of the moden rechippers to deal with. Not that the mods you have done should have thrown the mapping out anyway, they are not major enough.

3000rpm sounds just like when the purge valve opens though wink

I did not know they had the facility to reprogram these ecu's. You ether need the very old Lucas "developement unit" or more recently some Bosch mapping software called WinOLS, (its about a Grand I think) and an Eprom emulator. Any ideas how they where doing it?

I spoke to a very clever guy when i went for a free rolling road session at Raceproved..He is a wizard..he as mastered the Cerbera fueling system and as cracked the 14cux..I knew it was going to happen at any time..Think he would of worked at Bletchley Park 60 years ago nerd
