hi there, as you can see in the pics, my passenger side window appears to be about in the correct place on the vertical rubber seal (well ive looked on others while at the TVR garage and they seem to be in about the same place too) but the drivers side appears to be further back, so much so it rubs the top of the hood and is wearing it away, now before i get messages asking if the front is too far back, it seems to be ok on the pillars and in the same place both sides, so i then thought it must be something to do with the back roof section wrong, but that appears to be in order too, it doesnt look like it from the pics, but the drivers side is about 10mm further back than the passenger side, i know these cars are hand made and tolerences arent gonna be as tight as mass produced cars, but 10mm difference?

What is the front edge like - does it fit nicely in the aframe and does the aframe line up nicely with the windscreen edge?

If there's a gap anywhere at the front then I guess the window need to be adjusted forwards - easy enough to do smile
If there's no gap then I can only assume the glass is the wrong size.

Unless of course you have a banana shaped chim biggrin

Actually on second thoughts, standing looking at mine the drivers window is also aligned slightly differently with more of an overhang. Can't say I'd noticed until you posted though.

Does it cause you any problems?

well yes, its what wore the top corner of the back section, others ive seen at dulford seem to be lined up properly though, i had a peek at a handful last time i was there and yes it seems to be alined correctly at the front, its very strange, its closer to 15mm difference really, maybe i do have a bana shaped car lol, but it tracks straight and true and no wear on the tyres in funny places, so just wondered if any one had any thoughts

Not sure if this helps, but this is how mine looks - Perhaps you might be able to slide the window forward by a few mil to stop it catching.

thanks for taking the pics mate, im not sure how i can move it forward though, no where for it to go, the front door piller is right up against the window frame as it should be, its bizzare, ill try and take some clearer pics, the roof back section seems to be in order too, i even resorted to reading the number both sides on the glass in case it was a different size window, i really cant see where the error is

I have a nice 'air gap' between the seal and the top of the window biggrin I've found I can get a better fit if I jiggle the targa left and right rather than just throw it on.

shame i cant jiggle the back section in the same then as the top of the window is wearing the corner of the back section lol, had it replaced once too :-(
