Just seen this on Fleabay
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TVR-Chimaera-Power-Steering-...
I know the power steering racks are like hens teeth but £900 yikes
Seller listed as Steve Strange in coppul lancs. Must point out to those that dont know, there is a certain salvage yard around the coppul/ wigan area, well renowned for charging prices scratchchin way over the top.
Could it be one and the same? I think yes

Just don't forget to change the oil and flush out the res from time to time wink as no one ever bothers rolleyes they just moan when the ram seals fail and fill the bellows with oil confused only takes 40 minutes and prolongs all the components lifespan scratchchin its a no brainer & the best bit this can be done with just a flat bladed screwdriver a litre of DII/III and some jizer/brakecleaner or similar to clean the removed reservoir NOT TO BE RUN IN THE SYSTEM THOUGH just clean out the res strainer with it biggrin

Stevestrange007 works at Douglas Valley Breakers. There, I'll say it. I bought something from 'him' and when I called the number he gave me I had to be redirected within their place. All the packaging was labeled Douglas Valley Breakers as well.

i really dont like the idea of that 4.5 from an engine-bay fire car.... says it was stripped and cleaned, but surely there could be unseen damage caused by heat?

Joo put a badly burned out 5 litre in his V8S, when they stripped it apart aside from the black outside everything was pretty hunky dory in the engine as I recall?
